We hit the big D-Land on April 27th. It was Lucas' first trip to the happiest place on Earth and I think he had a great time. But I think I definitely had a better time -- what could be more fun than seeing your 3-year-old go on the same rides you went on as a child. We went on Dumbo, Pinnochio (didn't like), the teacups, the rocket blasters, mickey mouse roller coaster, the Columbia Ship, Tom Sawyer Island, Small World, the Jungle Cruise and the big train. We walked around a lot, ate a ton of junk food and didn't stay for the parade.
We hit the park at about 9:30 a.m. and by about 5:30 Lucas said he wanted to go. He was just getting over a nasty fight with the stomach flu and bronchitis. We left Amanda with Grandma and Grandpa C. because she just wouldn't dig standing in line. It was nice to be able to spend some quality time with Lucas. Anyway, over all I'd say it was worth the about $250 spent. Yes... $175 to get in and then food and souveniers. I'll put up some pics tonight.
Oh yeah, so Lucas went on the Mickey Mouse roller coaster (a real roller coaster) and he and Phil sat in the front car. When they got off Phil asked if Luc liked the ride. He said, "it was a little fast for me!" Cute!Comments:Add a comment:
