Luc has been battling a UTI for almost two weeks now and now he may have the stomach flu. We were at the doctor today because he was complaining of abdominal pain and she said it was probably caused by his antibiotics. As soon as we got home he vomitted and now the doc isn't sure if it is related to the UTI or if it is the stomach flu.
If it is the flu I just hope Amanda doesn't catch it.
Today will be spent watching lots of tv, drinking gatorade (Luc) and disinfecting toys, blankets and bathrooms (Me). FUN!Comments:Add a comment:

Sitting up!
Well, with the help of the boppy Amanda can sit up pretty well now. She can sit up on her own for a few seconds before she falls over but with the Boppy she can sit and play for a long time.
We are enjoying the summer so far. Luc is doing well with me working in the morning and he'll start preschool on July 5. It will be strange to have just Amanda in the mornings, but I think Luc will really enjoy preschool.
Amanda is eating pretty heartily these days. She gets a bit of rice cereal and banana at lunch and dinner (we're talking a couple of teaspoons) and then she still nurses about 7 times a day. I can't complain, though, because she sleeps from about 7:30 p.m. until 6 a.m.
Lucas is still going to swim lessons and getting a bit more used to the water. He is talking more and more every day and just loves to get into trouble. If I leave him alone for 2 minutes he'll have water on the ground, a video destroyed and will be stuck with both legs through one whole of his underpants.

I forgot to post that Amanda started rice cereal on June 8. It's a little earlier than I had planned, but she just seems so hungry and looks longingly at all of our plates at mealtime.
She is only eating a tiny bit and doesn't seem to like it too much -- but who would?
Other than that she is still sleeping great (7pm to 6am) and loves watching big brother.
Lucas did much better at his swim lessons on week 2 -- he only cried for half of the lesson.
Lucas is speaking better and better every day and is developing a little sense of humor. We're still not sure if he'll be starting preschool in July since potty training is not going as I had hoped it would.
I had the kids myself for most of the weekend because Phil had some seminars for work, but I survived. I usually look forward to the weekend for a bit of a break because Phil really helps out with the kids.
