  Amanda had her 2 week checkup on Friday Jan. 28.
  She weighed in at a whopping 7 pounds, 14 ounces. That is a 1 pound, 9 ounce increase in 12 days! The doctor was most amazed.
  I was not surprised, since she has been attached to me almost constantly from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.
  
  She was 21 inches long and her head was 14 1/8 inches.
  
  We love her very much and are just looking forward to the day when she can go longer than 45 minutes without eating.

  I'm going to add an entry for Amanda here since we don't have a site set up for her yet.
  
  Amanda was 6lbs. 12oz at birth. She was 20in. long and had apgars 9 and 9. My c-section went well considering....
  
  Amanda lost a few oz at the hospital (down 7oz. on checkout day), but at her doctor appt. today, they were surprised to see her back up to 6lbs. 11oz (a 6oz increase in 2 days!). She is a pro at eating and is such a mellow baby.
  
  Lucas is a great older bro. He is constantly telling Amanda that he loves her.
  We are tired, but happy.
