The terrible twos have begun!!! Yikes, yesterday was one crying spell after another. Anytime Luc doesn't get his way, from watching a video to having to wear shoes outside, the waterworks come on and you'd think that something really sad happened. And there is no reasoning with him. Distraction sometimes works, but not very often.
He doesn't tend to do this for anyone other than myself. I think he knows mom is more of a pushover -- although I've really been trying to hold my ground.
Other than that, Luc is doing great. He's talking more and more and sometimes he says the funniest things. He has also taken a liking to cold cereal and milk for breakfast -- just like Dad!Comments:Add a comment:

My kid is going to be the one on the playground who teaches all the other kids bad words:(
We were at costco about 2 weeks ago and as we were loading things into the car I set my soda on top of the car. Well, a breeze blew it off. Without even thinking, I said, "Oh, sh*&!" A half a second later Luc was repeating that phrase over and over. Phil and I just ignored him, hoping that he would forget about it.
Last night after Luc's bath, the floor was particularly wet -- he loves to splash me like crazy. Before I had a chance to clean up the water, Luc slipped and was sitting in a puddle.
"Oh sh*&" he says. I was trying so hard not to laugh. He repeated it over and over. I can't believe he remembered that. How am I going to get him to forget that phrase?!!!
