  Just a quick update. I find I don't have as much time to post updates lately.
  
  Luc is getting over another ear infection right now. Poor guy. It seems to affect him most at night -- we've all lost a lot of sleep the past 3 or 4 nights.
  At the doctor yesterday, they weighed him and said he was between 26 and 27 pounds. Yikes!
  He is speaking a lot more clearly now.
  Milk, nigh-night, eat, and car all sound pretty clear.
  What else can I say... I love him more every day and think I'm so lucky to have him.

  Luc was such a good boy this weekend. We had a nice time on Saturday just hanging out and we spent a bit of time at the park. Saturday evening Luc had fun being entertained by our friends Paul and Christi Kostenuik.
  
  On Sunday we cleaned up a bit and then went for a nice hike -- Luc seemed to enjoy the off-road adventure -- and then we went to visit a nearby farm. They have lots of great produce and a petting zoo where they have animals and other things for little ones to explore. We forgot the camera when we went to the farm, so no pics:(
  But it's only 5 minutes away, so I'm sure we'll be back soon.
  
  Luc has a new word -- poop!
  
  So far the words he can say are:
  daddy, cheese, outside, up, down, waffle,
  sit (sounds like s$it), shoe, video, trash, car,
  ear, elbow, knee, shower, hot dog, hi, and now, poop.
  I'm sure there are a lot more I'm missing and most of the words above only come out sounding right to me, but I just love hearing him talk. Sometimes he'll say long "baby talk" sentences and it's the cutest thing. You just know he knows exactly what he's saying and can't understand why I don't get it.
