We're finishing up the first week of working from home! It's been a big adjustment, but I think Luc enjoys staying home with mom. And I *know* I love having him around.
Lucas now knows where food comes from. If he's hungry, or we're serving something he doesn't want, he'll walk over to the refrigerator and indicate that we should open it and get him something like cheese, hot dog, or yogurt. He knows that these things come from the fridge. And if we pick the wrong thing, he promptly indicates this by pulling on the refrigerator door.
How do little kids know that they will like something like hot dogs or chicken nuggets? I mean, he won't try a strawberry, greenbean, piece of carrot or a grape. But he barely even hesitated before putting a piece of turkey dog in his mouth! I keep putting the "good" things out there, hoping that one day he'll give something a try. I mean, who doesn't like fresh honeydew???
Anyway, Luc is great and I'm stressed out and Phil is very busy at work. Overall, we think we are very lucky to have the chaotic life we do.

We had a very nice weekend.
Grandma and Grandpa Crouse came up for a visit and Lucas had a great time. Who wouldn't love to be showered with attention?
We went over to my mom's on Saturday to celebrate Aunt Mo's 81st!!!! Lucas had a nice time seeing his cousins and he was on his best behavior.
Sunday we went out to lunch and then had a relaxing day in the backyard and at the park.
Lucas is at daycare today and will probably start staying home with me on Wednesday.Comments:Add a comment:

Sometimes Luc is sitting in the back of the car and he'll just laugh out loud.
I'll look back and he's cracking up and I can't figure out why. I wonder what is going on in that little noggin!
We're doin OK. Luc is getting at least one good meal -- right now, breakfast is it. He slept from 8:15 - 5:45 a.m. last night -- pretty good!Comments:Add a comment:

Luc is addicted to "ring around the rosie".
We were home sick yesterday, but he still wanted to play all day.
He is also addicted to the book "I Stink!" I must have read it 15 times yesterday.
I will tell him to put the book back in the basket and bring another one -- he will bring the book to the basket, "pretend" to put it away and bring the very same book back to me.
