  My baby is two years old today!
  I can't believe that 2 years ago today I was in the hospital meeting my little boy for the first time. He has been such a wonderful gift and I love him more than I can say.
  I have an OB appt. today, so we are going to take Luc and then go out for a birthday dinner after.
  
  I forgot to post Luc's 2 year doctor stats.
  We went on Dec. 14 and it was a 30 minute appt. Luc spent most of the time crying and clinging to me -- the doctor said that was a totally normal 2-year reaction.
  His weight (which they had to get by weighing me holding him and then just me) was: 28.5 pounds
  Height: 36 inches
  Head: 20 inches
  He's 85% for height -- not surprising because Phil is so tall.
  
  Lucas doesn't quite get that Christmast is in a couple of days and he's going to get a lot of loot. But I guess it is just as well that he doesn't expect anything yet. I hope he'll have fun opening his gifts.
  
  Just a little over two weeks until Lucas is a big brother!!!

  We celebrated Luc's birthday a couple of weeks early just to make sure we'd get the celebration in before the new baby comes.
  I think he had a good time at the party yesterday. The weather was rainy and we were stuck inside, but the kids didn't seem to mind. We decorated cookies, had cupcakes and tried to convince Lucas that opening presents is fun. He just doesn't seem interested in ripping open that paper.
  
  Things have pretty much been status quo around here. Luc went into his "big boy" bed about a week before Thanksgiving. He did really well and hasn't started wandering the halls yet. He is such a good sleeper. Every other day or so, he does try to push limits a bit and out come the terrible twos. Those moments are few, but they do seem to last a long time when you're in them. We have a doctor checkup next week and we'll get his weight and height. He keeps growing despite the fact that he is such a poor eater... but what would I worry about if he were a good eater:)
